• Develop an overall vision and strategic priorities that enhances global engagement at TWU, increase retention among international students, and increase the number of international students involved in student leadership.• Oversee the development of vibrant spaces on campus for hosting international students.• Provide leadership and oversight on all international student services including medical insurance, advising, immigration support, and cultural integration.• Mange and lead various campus events and university task-forces pertaining to international student engagement and retention.• Oversee the selection, training and supervision of student leaders for the Intercultural Programs (ICP) team. • Develop and implement a strategy for improving the integration of international undergraduate residence and commuter students across the Langley campus. • Promote diversity, multiculturalism, global awareness, and cultural understanding across the University and develop strategic relationships with other departments that serve international students. • Increase the participation of international students involved in student leadership, academic and recreational clubs, and athletics. • Work with the Community Life Director to manage international student conduct in accordance with the University’s community standards, housing policies, discipline, and harassment policies.• Work with the Enrolment team and Housing Services to increase strategic placement of international students in residence and provide cross-cultural engagement training for all student leaders, particularly Resident Assistants and Community Life Assistants,

• Manage assigned recruitment area established by the Regional Admissions Coordinator and achieving goals for inquiring, applied, admitted and enrolled students. • Achieve inquiry goals through regional travel, specifically visits to high schools, churches, college fairs and conferences. Establish and maintain relationships with key schools, churches and relevant organizations in the region. • Actively recruit students through consistent follow-up throughout the application process, specifically through email, phone calls, campus visits and personal visits. Develop rapport with prospective students and parents by providing prompt and professional service. • Advise and assist all students on a daily basis with online applications, course registration, deposit payment and financial aid information. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on relevant areas of campus, including academic programs, athletic achievements, financial aid, student life programs, university housing, special events and other areas. Act as a liaison with a specific academic or university department. • Assist with campus visits, including organized group visits, individual appointments and campus tours. • Develop new recruitment and marketing strategies by establishing business partnerships and student engagement events

• Manage pathway staff in Canada, Korea, and China (both unionized and non-unionized)• Coordinate academic, financial, and marketing progress/concerns with senior management and develop marketing and sales strategies pertaining to the Pathway program• Manage over 40 partnerships with existing Pathway partners across Canada, the US, and the UK• Develop recruitment plans and programs for the growth of Pathways• Organize internal and external events including guest speakers, education fairs, and workshops• Counsel and advise prospective students in post-secondary application processes and life/career choices• Meet with agents, overseas guests, and partners to discuss potential agreements and attend overseas conferences, international fairs, and agent meetings• Develop articulation agreements and recruitment collaboration agreements with new partners• Create budgeting and financial plans as well as growth strategies for the Loyalist Pathway program• Provide training for all Loyalist staff in marketing the Pathway program through workshops, weekly meetings, presentations• Create brochures, flyers, and information sheets using Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Word, Publisher, and Powerpoint
