Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *Responsible for safely running two wound care & hyperbaric clinics simultaneously at multiple locations. *Operated six Sechrist mono-place hyperbaric chambers with an average daily volume of twenty patients.*Maintained daily and periodic equipment maintenance documentation.*Responsible for the safe and effective operation and maintenance of the hyperbaric chambers, related systems and ancillary components.*Fostered a positive relationship between the department and local Fire Marshall, EMS Director, and Pressure Vessel Inspector, as appropriate for a given location. *Maintained a safe environment in the hyperbaric facility for patients and staff and used approved and recognized decompression procedures for all persons with a hyperbaric exposure to inert gases. *Worked closely with the Medical, Program, and Nursing Directors to develop and annually review/revise department policies and procedures and operation and maintenance documents.*Provided daily wound care and dressing changes for both out patients and in patients. *Maintained all facility safety-related standards as required by various licensing and regulatory agencies. *Ensured department compliance with NFPA 99, chapter 20, Hyperbaric Facilities and with unit safety policies and procedures.*Evaluated all hyperbaric chambers equipment/supplies used in the chambers and ensured that they meet all safety requirements before they are permitted inside the chamber.
