As an HR Generalist at Wedlake Fabricating Inc, I support the HR functions of the fabrication company, such as payroll, employee benefits, employee relations, and compliance. I ensure that the company meets its legal and ethical obligations, and that the employees are satisfied and motivated. I work with several staffing agencies and also do my own recruitment. I instruct all new hire orientation classes and assist with training, employee engagement programs and performance management, helping to attract, retain, and develop the best talent for the organization. I leverage my strong background in education and event planning to create engaging and informative learning opportunities and social activities for the employees and the community. I am passionate about human resources, and I am always eager to learn new skills and best practices to enhance my professional growth and contribute to the company's success. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management from Southern New Hampshire University, and I expect to graduate in Jun 2024. I have received multiple honors and certifications, such as the USA Outstanding Leadership Award, Strathmores Who’s Who, and LinkedIn courses on having honest career conversations, developing morning habits, and leading and motivating people with different personalities. These achievements demonstrate my commitment to continuous learning and improvement, as well as my ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
