Assisted in the first residential community based living program with people with TBI. My role as supervisor was 24/7 on call responsibility for the day to day management of staff and residential participants. Supervising compliance with DDD licensing and staff certifications. Participated in all aspects of IHP development and documentation. Scheduled fun social and recreational activities for residents and staff. Managed staff budgets and schedules. Maintained caring, supportive and safe environment for residents through careful monitoring and continuous oversight

Supported and assisted executive director in management of facility budgets and business practices. Tracked monthly performance of our Middlesex, Mercer and Somerset county group homes. Maintaining all operations and compliance with state licensing and reporting standards. Developed positive relationships on behalf of company with government regulators, families, area health care community and community at large.

CIL developed and implemented a program which provided a smooth transition and progression of services for developmentally disabled individuals from South Brunswick High School into independent living. Participants were moderately handicapped who could function with minimal supervision and support. As case manager I assisted with the initial transition from school slowly into their supportive apartments. implemented documented all IHP goals, met with participants 2-3 times weekly. Assisted and supervised all aspects of vocational placement. Developed and implemented comprehensive case management plans to address client needs and goals

Assisted the coordinator in all legal requirements in hiring practices of employers conforming to A.D.A requirements both on a physical plant level and avoiding discrimination of hired participants. developed, evaluated and implemented job procurement, Including but not limited to job coaching, overseeing and charting appropriate vocational goals and objectives of IHP.

Responsibilities included the day to day management of both staff and participants. This particular home had more challenging behavior needs made up of recently de-institutionalized non verbal women. Responsibilities included 24/7 staffing 3 separate shifts a day.
