Since September 2008, I have been a sworn member of the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington DC performing tasks relating to the enforcement of the laws provided in the United States Constitution, District of Columbia Criminal Code, and the Office of Attorney General. Through the course of my duties I have made hundreds of arrests of criminal offenders leading to successful prosecution. I have extensive experience writing both arrest and search warrants and the execution thereof. I routinely testify before grand juries, petite juries, and judiciary officials presiding over criminal trials. The natures of arrests I have made include but not limited to; narcotics offenses, weapons offenses, assault, prostitution/procuring, crimes of violence, traffic offenses, various violent crimes, etc. I am currently assigned to the Violent Crime Branch where I conduct Homicide Investigations.In addition, I have received a variety of specialized training courses and certifications. Of these would include but not limited to:• Narcotics identification/testing certified• Hidden compartment recognition and Interdiction certified• Active Shooter trained• Characteristics of an armed gunman certified• Criminal Investigation Certification• Wicklander and Zulawski Course of Interrogation certification
