Director of Engineering and QualityAs Director of Engineering and Quality I report directly to the company President, my responsibilities are to provide leadership, guidance and vision to a technical management staff. Ensuring achievement of short and long term strategic goals, KPI’s and the quality of the product delivered to our customers. Mentor all employees within the QE,QA and M.E departments to promote excellence at all levels, further developing our technology, and core competencies.• Ensure the robustness of our Quality Management System: Reviewing processes and procedures with the other departments and stakeholders.• Reduce rework and scrap: Ensure that the Quality and Manufacturing Engineers are effectively facilitating rework and scrap reduction using data/trends• Agency & Customer Audits: Implement a robust internal audit plan and manage all external audits• Engineering Changes: Liaison with Production and improve the effectiveness of the Engineering Change Process• Contract Review and Flow-down: Ensure that the Quality clauses are adequately reviewed for new contracts and that adequate information is flowed down to the vendors• Supplier Quality Management: Drive Quality improvements/accountability across the supply base in collaboration with Purchasing• Continuous Improvement: Foster a continuous improvement culture in the organization and drive actions to reduce cost of poor Quality• Ensure that customer returns are adequately handled and turned around in an expeditious manner. Drive actions to reduce customer returns• Ensure all AS9100 processes are followed, audited and documented showing objective evidence of compliance• Assist in the hiring and training of new employees within the quality department• Ensure quotes are processed in a timely manner with accurate costing to ensure competitive and profitable submittals.

Senior Mfg. Engineering/Manager, - Responsibilities include providing daily guidance and direction to a staff of Engineers required to design and develop complex aerospace engine components, through machining, welding, brazing and assemble. Responsible for staffing, budgets, capital asset purchase, product cost, integrity and schedule. Point of contact with customers during new product development. Lean process leader. Was acting quality manager for 6 months where I lead two successful NADCAP audits

F-35 AVMC 0perations IPT Leader Created and developed staff, process and procedures to successfully execute the installation, test and delivery of the F-35 jet fighter instrumentation system. Provide leadership to a broad range of disciplines, Supervisors, Mfg. Eng., I.E, Liaison Engineering, Production Control and Electrical/Mechanical Technicians across a 7-day a week, 24 a day program. Responsibilities included warehouse operations, implementation of safety, security and housekeeping to strict manufacturing standards, metrics and key performance indicators, capital asset forecast, EVMS, scheduling, customer relations and personnel development.
