I am the Family Law Team Leader at Aitken Partners and a Principal with management responsibilities as one of the owners of the firm. I work exclusively in the area of Family and Criminal Law offering advice to people about Divorce & Separation, Property, Children and Family Violence Issues. I have a special focus on complex property matters and enjoys dealing with family companies and trusts associated with relationships.Understanding that Family Law can be stressful, I offer understanding, compassion and effective options to help his clients deal with their issuesI have also appeared in both summary and indictable jurisdictions in relation to Criminal law matters as well as intervention orders. Sport has always been a big part of my life, both as a fan (the Western Bulldogs in the AFL dominates my heart) and as a former competitor. I played football at VFL level with Geelong and was also the youngest ever senior football coach in Victorian Country Football League when I was appointed head coach at the Warrnambool Deakin Sharks in 2010. When I returned to Melbourne, I played with the Old Wesley Collegians in the VAFA before retiring to focus on work. In 2007 I was also the Captain of the Wesley College’s First XI in cricket. Outside of work I am a director of a not-for-profit entity called Green Hattah with a focus on rejuvenating an area of land in the Hattah Kulkyne National Park, which has been completely eroded. This is still in the early consultation phase and a PHD candidate has begun work on the subject.
