I enabled the City Plumbing transport department to split from the Travis Perkins group. This involved salvaging and redesigning critical working documents and aligning them to business processes. I worked with internal and external data providers to build a solid foundation of data despite many obstacles. I then created dashboards to monitor and improve overall compliance.I mapped all the dataflows and presented them in a visualisation, recommending opportunities to re-structure which led to simplifications and cost savings.The split also involved a complete GCP migration, meaning all working documents would receive a new URL and all links between them needed re-instating. I created a tool to capture and links systematically and replace them post migration, protecting business continuity.I created and implemented a business directory maintenance model to improve reporting aggregation, permissions management and escalation. I also integrated an external fleet partner. I introduced a driver induction model for new recruits. I scoped requirements for HR outputs with the introduction of a new HR system and created numerous ‘stop-gap’ fixes while designing longer term solutions.This role granted a high level of access. I predominantly used GCP, Bigquery, Google Sheets, Forms, Apps Script. Data studio, Drawio (to map out technical processes), Monday.com. I spent my time advising, fixing, migrating, creating, analysing, cleansing data, training teams and mapping out technical dataflows.This client was a pleasure to work with.

Large scale data-driven project to implement Quintiq planning and scheduling optimisation software across multiple manufacturing sites.I provided the ETL data design solutions, mapping data from multiple legacy systems and preparing it for load into the optimisation tool. I oversaw the data delivery end to end, working closely with an offshore development team, external testing teams, central and independent master data teams, factory planning SMEs, project management, solution architects, end users and other key site stakeholders to deliver to tight project deadlines and budgets. I delivered and documented full data integration solutions for 3 manufacturing sites which now benefit from optimised daily production plans.Extensive use of Excel, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Oracle SQL Developer, Jira (agile and waterfall), AWS S3, data and process flow tools

Data management for the new Morrisons wholesale division. I maintained product catalogues for wholesale clients: Amazon, McColls and Sandpiper. I assisted with the relaunch of the Safeway brand. I covered all aspects of the product data lifecycle included providing images, back of pack information and price/promotion activity in multiple formats to tight deadlines. I worked with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure stock availability. I conducted weekly range checkpoint meetings with account managers, supply chain and end clients to ensure smooth delivery. I also assisted with the on-boarding of new and prospective clients.I created/maintained a collaborative data management system that allowed interaction between all wholesale departments. I automated the complex process of capturing range instructions across the business and feeding back poor communication. This improved the lead times and accuracy of instructions which were directly fed to external clients.I trained new starters across various wholesale teams and smoothed the on-boarding process by creating adaptive training guides and an equipment/access checklist. I later went on to provide business analysis as an SME of the data management tool I had created so that an interactive wholesale portal could be developed by our in-house IT team. This involved numerous discovery and scoping activities.Extensive usage of Excel/Google Sheets, Docs, Slides/Oracle SQL/Microsoft SQL.

Data administration role. Simplified processes and automated functions to improve team collaboration and enable product catalogue scalability. Responsible for the maintenance of multiple categories of Morrisons online groceries. This involved listing new products, maintaining promotional information and working with external image providers to meet product ranging deadlines.

Buy-to-let mortgages applications. Working closely with brokers, surveyors and underwriting departments. Customer-facing telephone role dealing primarily with intermediaries and walking them through the application process and assessing criteria against company policies and UK regulations.

Various proselyting and humanitarian activities across locations in Botswana and Namibia. A wealth of experience including training and leadership opportunities. I served as a district/zone leader in multiple locations, overseeing small groups of volunteers and directing local efforts whilst providing training to new arrivals and reporting to leadership. At a later point I worked as an assistant to the mission president, dealing with additional administrative duties of running a volunteer group. These involved determining location transfers for volunteers and resolving logistical issues such as providing accommodations and amenities, arranging visas and reporting on finances and budgets. I also oversaw leadership training conferences to inspire further effectiveness.Here I built enduring relationships, gained appreciation and understanding for very different cultures/languages and learned how to guide others to self-improvement. Many of the values and lessons learned here have shaped my life choices.
