Worked in a clean room environment performing quality inspections on contact lenses. Operated several different types of inspection equipment including plastics (mold inspection) Protea (measures the actual contact lenses) along with visual inspections to ensure J&J was sending out a quality product to their customers.

South San Francisco, California

Worked directly with the R&D Engineering team on the pilot line using GMP’s and documenting all findings in a clean lab environment. Involved in training of new employees in different aspects of our standard lab procedures and proper lab procedures. Use of MPI operating procedures for each piece of lab equipment to comply with OSHA and FDA regulations as well as QMS ISO 13485 standards.

Operations Manager contracted through Kelly Services Consulting and Management division. Managed 13 FTE's that performed the PM machine cleanings (preventative maintenance) on the production lines in a timely manner per PM schedule. Operated within strict J&J safety guidelines along with OSHA and FDA regulations.

Jacksonville, Florida

Managed a team of 14 FTE’s that performed all the linen deliveries within Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, FL which is a 840 bed hospital including Wolfson Children's Hospital along with overseeing linen distribution in 3 other satellite hospitals in the area. Lots of customer service focus dealing directly with the end user and handled all quality issues. During my time there we provided linen service to Nemours Clinic and MD Anderson Cancer Center as well.

Pensacola, Florida Area

Managed an onsite laundry operation at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL providing linen services to the 500 bed hospital. I had full responsibility for 15 production and distribution employees and managed to operate within monthly budget requirements for both supplies and labor.

Knoxville, Tennessee Area

Worked in the route distribution side of the linen industry for 2+ years at this location. I managed 11 routes and was responsible for new sales and retaining customer contracts. Performed weekly customer visits and rode with the route drivers on a regular basis to know the customer and grow the business.

Charlotte, North Carolina Area

Started out at this Alsco plant (formerly National Linen) as a production supervisor on the first shift. After 1 1/2 years I was promoted to Production Manager on the 2nd shift in charge of 42 employees in all phases of operation within the plant.

Knoxville, Tennessee Area

Production supervisor over the washroom operation of the linen plant, then moved to the receiving department and also the flatwork area where all the clean linen was processed utilizing various types of processing equipment. Managed anywhere from 10-16 employees and was responsible for daily production quotas and quality control as well. This is a former National Linen location just a smaller version of the one in Charlotte, NC.
