I am a friendly passionate individual who detests injustice. I am open minded and can think outside the box. I stay calm in challenging enviroment and have the ability to diffuse situations that others have found difficult. I have worked in CPS and large Solicitors in Manchester area for 20 + years. Prior to returning to North Wales to raise my children who are now adults. I have extensive knowledge and training not only as a trustee of a large childrens charity assisting volunteers to keep motivated. But, also a Citizens Advice Generalist Advisor and Gateway Assessor of 15 years gaining invaluable experience and campaigning for change. During this time incorporating Parent Partnership Services supporting families with children with SEN to achieve the best results and mediation within statutory education and voluntary services as well as local authority. Currently working in Domestic Abuse Refuge supporting both men and women which gives immense satisfaction seeing an individual be able to move on with life free of abuse. Having previously gained experience within DA Crisis and outreach in the community. I have a very good understanding of diversity having grown up in a multicultural family. I am respectful and understand the issues that can arise within different cultures. Training record with Mental health first aid/drug and alcohol trained. Harmful practice. I am able to forge excellent relationships within many different areas which has followed me through my career enhancing excellent networking and communication in all roles.
