My role is to increase awareness among locals (students, authorities, professionals and the general public) about Invasive Alien Species (IAS), as a member of staff for LIFE IP Azores Natura. The project aims to build an Operational Action Framework for the early detection and rapid response against IAS in La Palma (Canary Islands) and Corvo (Azores).

Reventón Trail El Paso is a mountain marathon held in La Palma (Canary Islands). The event comprises several races, but the 45.7 K Marathon is by far the best known of them. My tasks involve coordinating and generating content across all platforms (website, mailing list, print, etc.).

Independently or through third parties (Turismo de La Palma, Promotur, SODEPAL, Film! Canary Islands) I've worked as location manager, production assistant, fixer or runner in proyects headed by Canal de Historia, TVE, Volcano International Productions and Arcadia Motion Pictures (Spain), BBC Two (United Kingdom), Devour TV (USA), ZDF and WDR (Germany), RAI 3 (Italy), Canal de História (Portugal) and ScienceVision Filmproduktions GmbH (Austria). I also worked as a production assistant in "Cabreras" (Estrella Monterrey, 2014).

Registered as Canary Islands Tour Guide GTC 2151 since the 4th of June 2008 (Official Bulletin of the Canary Islands Government 2008/121 and 2010/038). Specialized in nature, hiking and the outdoors, I've mostly worked with press trips and media companies from Spain (CN Traveler, Cuerpo Mente, Muntanya), United Kingdom (The Sunday Telegraph, The Daily Telegraph, Metro, The Guardian, Adventure Travel Magazine, Best Magazine, Thomas Cook Inflight Magazine), Denmark (Fyens), Israel (Masa Acher), Germany (Die Zeit). I am also Starlight Guide 010 LP (specialized in astronomy and licensed by the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias in 2011). In addition, I'm also authorized to work as an Official Tour Guide at Teide National Park (MARM-OAPN, 2009).

Among other responsibilities, I was the webmaster and editor of elapuron.com (a digital news site from La Palma, between 2009 and 2016). These days I am the webmaster of the Canary Islands Ombudsman (Diputado del Común, at diputadodelcomun.org) and of the Canary Islands Digital Seed Atlas (atlasdesemillasdecanarias.org). I've also developed and manage websites for several companies within the Canaries (COSEPAL, Covalle, La Prosperidad, Teneguía, etc.).

Providing assistance, interpretation and guidance to the visitors of Caños de Fuego (Interpretation Centre for the Volcanic Caves of La Palma), owned by Cabildo Insular de La Palma and managed by TRAGSA. I occasionally filled an identical vacancy at the Archaeological Park of El Tendal.

Transvulcania (www.transvulcania.info) is a mountain ultramarathon held on La Palma. It is celebrated yearly since 2009 and it gathers over 3,000 corredores from over 50 nationalities.

Writing, coordination and design of websites linked to the Association for the Development of Rural Areas in La Palma (ADER-La Palma). I've participated in the creation and management of around 20 TLDs, like infoisla.org (pioneering citizenship and employment web portal of La Palma) and tourlapalma.com (tourism and bookings). In addition, I've also edited CD-ROMs, websites, leaflets and books produced by the Association.
