I am responsible for supporting the business by ensuring each apprenticeship pathway is learner focused with a specific intent of building skills for the future in the digital industry. In addition to this I am involved in planning and creating resources so that each pathway is supported and provides increased fluidity to each learner and that their journey is challenging and successful.

Since joining the Army Reserve (TA) in 2003 I have taken part in various military training exercises and completed three operation tours to Iraq in 2007 and then Afghanistan in 2010 and again in 2013.I have also been a qualified physical training instructor and spent a year on the Army Reserve Training Team as a section commander for recruits on their Phase A course.As part of the Army Reserve I have also gained further driving qualifications and hold extra driving categories such as D1 and C+E.

Telephone Engineer working on the BTOR network.Installing and upgrading telecoms equipment including telephone and broadband in residential and commercial property on the Openreach Project. Duties include replacing internal and external cabling. Accreditations gained A8, A9, A12, C4, D1, E1, E4, F5, F7,N6 and P5 along with NRSWA unit2.

My main role was as a Academy Assessor working with learners studying towards NVQ II in Business Administration. This involved classroom teaching and assessing as well as work based assessments. The qualifications I delivered were, Customer Service level 2, Work skills level 2, Key Skills Application of Number, Communication and ICT level 1 and a Level 2 Technical Certificate in Business Administration.

Teaching and classroom support during lessons. As a qualified NVQ assessor I am timetabled to work with the apprentices who are working towards NVQ qualifications. I also teach year 9 students in various sports as part of a school wide programme, Sporticus.I also provide technical support for the schools admin network and assisting staff and students in the delivery of education using ICT. This role involves great knowledge of Windows XP based systems and many other software applications. I have to be very competent in fault finding both in soft and hardware issues and provide quick cost effective support to aid the quality of teaching within the school.
