Reporting directly to the Head of Research, I was involved in a number of partnered projects as well as taking ownership for the development of my own novel calibration technique for a resistivity imager tool. I quickly became be trusted at passing/failing certain tools before they were sent out to be field operational. The majority of my tasks were completed on MatLab however I also gained experience in CAD modelling and analysis.

A three month SPIN (Space Placements In Industry) internship working on the ESA partnered SMILE mission. I spent the majority of my time there conducting data analysis for the CCDs (Charged Couple Device) on the SXI (Soft X-ray Imager) instrument.My work culminated in a Technical Note report together with an A0 poster presentation at the 2019 UK Space Conference in Newport, Wales.

Pre-Phase A study about a mission to implement a Lunar ISRU facility to produce rocket propellant.The study took place over six months at three universities in Turin, Toulouse and Leicester respectively designing surface and orbital elements to complete the mission objectives.I aided: the pinpointing of the location of the mission on the lunar surface, designing trajectories between the lunar surface and a nearby space station and the design of a facility to produce the propellant from extracted lunar resources.

Working at the Co-op has enabled me to be financially independent whilst studying at university. This role often involves leading a team to provide excellent customer service. It also provides me with the experience of communicating in a friendly, professional way to members of the public whilst delivering tasks to high standards, in stressful, time critical situations.I have proactively organised training for myself in other departments within the store to gain additional experience and grow within my role.

As recognition of my trustworthiness I was asked to cover night shifts. Duties involved monitoring pump stations late on Saturday nights, whilst being the sole employee capable of operating the till. Also responsible for locking up the station at the end of the shift.

As a member of the archaeological department, I was trusted with examining findings from the iron age, bronze age and Roman pottery. This included analysing and inputting data onto the departments database. Gained further knowledge of working in a professional environment and how to handle data electronically.

Supporting children in their development by being caring and encouraging. This experience helped me to adapt my communication skills to interact with a wide range of individuals of different age and culture.
