I am a geospatial professional at Esri UK, currently seconded to the Enterprise Services team to deploy ArcGIS Enterprise into customer environments. This role involves understanding and implementing ArcGIS Enterprise using best-practice methodologies, as well as integrating it with various aspects of customers’ IT infrastructure. Additionally, I collaborate with the Technical Support team to assist customers in these areas.Previously, I worked in the coastal and offshore sectors for a leading marine consultancy. In this role, I utilized a wide range of specialist software, including the full ESRI suite (ArcGIS Desktop, Pro, Server, Online) and open-source GIS products, to source and analyze spatial data. This enabled informed decision-making for clients involved in offshore developments, marine licensing, data modeling, and marine spatial planning. I regularly used Python, R, and Esri ModelBuilder to streamline workflows and develop bespoke client tools. Another key aspect of this role was developing webGIS platforms to share project findings interactively.
