When I joined Visbion as an Installation Engineer, Stephan soon recognized my technical strengths and brought me into the Product Development team. This shift allowed me to dive deep into complex hardware challenges right away. My first major task was to tackle some intricate issues with trailer-based systems, which I resolved and ultimately developed into a fully functional, reliable monitoring platform now piloted across multiple trailers.Creating this system was rewarding and challenging. I collaborated closely with the development team to write scripts that capture real-time data from sensors via the API, turning that data into clear, insightful visuals in Grafana. This involved learning and integrating new technologies like Mosquitto, InfluxDB, Telegraph, and SNMP polling, which were new to me at the start but became essential tools in my work.Now, the platform provides dynamic graphs and real-time monitoring that make it easy to keep an eye on system health and performance. It’s been exciting to see the impact of this project—knowing that I played a key role in building something that improves how our systems run and supports our clients in the field.
