I am a conservation biologist with a primary focus on integrating innovation andscience-based solutions to address the current issues in conservation. I am competentin carrying out fieldwork under intense and harsh conditions. I am proficient inworking with qualitative and quantitative data, multiple software and applications,and field-oriented technologies. My work comprises long-term and short-termconservation projects and studies across a diverse range of aspects related to conservation science. My work revolves around the ecological studies related tolarge mammalian carnivores and reptiles. This mainly includes the ethological studyof the Indian Grey Wolf (Canis lupus pallipes), crocodile ecology and conservationin Northern India, ecology of large felids and canids in natural habitats, human-snake interactions in Northern India, human-wildlife conflict and ex-situmanagement. My main research interest includes studying the human-wildlifeinteractions, anthropogenic dimensions of carnivore ecology, movement of large carnivores in a human -dominated landscapes, impact of climate change onvulnerable ecosystems and species, ecosystem conservation and habitat restorationin grassland and riverine ecosystems.With my diverse range of work experience through freelancing as well as withgovernment and non-government sectors and inter-disciplinary approaches, I aim toproduce scientific insights by incorporating novel perspectives and technologies toinform the policy, and to support the stakeholders and public in making informed decisions for the effective conservation and management of natural resources.
