An umbrella organisation which supports young people in 20+ countries to think critically, become active citizens, and be empowered in their educational and professional opportunities.I am responsible for the application, administration, execution, rapporting and evaluation of international and national programmes at a non-formal education NGO. I run the day-to-day back office and assist with financial management, CRM, evaluation, auditing of programmes and writing of the annual report.Programmes include:- Empowering Youth To Debate Across Europe, an educator development programme for educators in 7 countries in the non-formal sector funded by Erasmus+.- Creating Critical Minds and Voices, an international exchange programme operating in 17 countries which teaches high school students 21st-century skills, funded by Europe for Citizens.- IDEA Debate Exchange, an international skills exchange for individuals working in the non-formal education and collegiate education sectors, funded by Erasmus+.- Development of systems thinking and global education programmes through the projects GEASA and NGL for both the youth and secondary education scetorsFor this programme I regularly give workshops at high school, vocational, and professional level. In 2022 I led the campaign for the municipal elections, in which we mobilised over 100 activists and built a multi-media campaign that led to us maintaining our status as largest political party in the city, with a top-10 vote share for the party countrywide. During the event we redirected resources to help the local Ukrainian community collect relief goods and help bring in the first refugees at the onset of the Ukraine-Russian war.In 2021 I led a turbulent campaign in corona times… Show more In 2022 I led the campaign for the municipal elections, in which we mobilised over 100 activists and built a multi-media campaign that led to us maintaining our status as largest political party in the city, with a top-10 vote share for the party countrywide. During the event we redirected resources to help the local Ukrainian community collect relief goods and help bring in the first refugees at the onset of the Ukraine-Russian war.In 2021 I led a turbulent campaign in corona times, using a mixture of volunteer engagement pioneering digital and physical efforts, and maintaining a strong social presence.Whilst the party recorded a historic defeat including in Nijmegen, the vote share in the municipality was the highest in the country for the Greens. Open Up! uses dialogue and debate education to help empower young people, connect them to their community and society, and let them drive the change they wish to see from/with community stakeholders and (local) authorities.I develop, coordinate and execute the trainings and education of role models and young people. I also assist with acquisition, event management, and strategic project management and development.

De Jonge Klimaatbewing (Young Climate Movement) speaks on behalf of youth organisations to all levels of policy making, seeking to build an inclusive and diverse movement which influences political stakeholders to combat climate change effectively.As treasurer and acquisiton manager I maintain the financial security and progress of the organisation, write the annual financial report, and apply for, liaise with, and report on projects to key donors.
