In this role, leveraged expertise to manage the installation, monitoring, testing, and maintenance of telecommunications and associated electronic equipment and wiring per specifications and operational procedures, both in technical facilities as well as on customer property. • Built effective business partnerships through developed communication plan and presentations, able to work with leaders and technology users easily on cross-functional projects in support of organizational goals.• Helped support Corporate Strategies, network modernization projects and further integration projects by delivering project results and synergy cost savings.• Communicated process and system changes both in/outside of the group or company, managing projects under time constraints and proficiency requirements to ensure rapid return of network equipment for reuse.• Performed installation, maintenance, and repair of all Central Office equipment network elements, such as the Optical network for local distribution, customer access and long haul, and environmental equipment including HVAC, generators, UPS systems, DC battery plants, and site security.• Oversaw Juniper Networks, Cisco, Ciena, Big Iron AES, Alcatel Service Access Switches and Adtran Network equipment, planning and executing all installation, maintenance, and repair of local market equipment associated with IP and Data networks.• Successfully installed, commissioned, tested, and accepted all new network installations using multiple test sets, including JDSU 8000, JDSU 6000, JDSU 5800, JDSU HST 3000 and Acterna Smartclass Ethernet Test sets. Proficient in all Ethernet testing including RFC 2544, RFC 6349, and Y.1564.• Conducted maintenance on Data Routers, Data Switches, and Voice Channel Banks at Customer Premise, and test and turn-up of DIA, SIP, MPLS, IPVPN, and TDM Voice at the customer premise.
