As founder and president of Dadascope Communications, Dana has spent the last 25 years evangelizing new trends, introducing national brands, and rolling out compelling and effective communications strategies that address clients' business goals, from driving consumer sales and establishing thought leadership to supporting sales teams and generating brand buzz. Most recently, Dana has focused on raising the profile and expanding the businesses of brands and entrepreneurs seeking to create a more just and equitable food system, including Clover Sonoma, Corto Olive Oil, Cuzen Matcha, Farmer Focus, Merge Impact, Numi Organic Tea and more. In addition to challenger and iconic brands like Iconic Protein, Off the Grid, Sun Basket and Monrovia, Dana is honored to have called some of the nation’s most respected media outlets her clients. Dana has worked hand-in-hand with award-winning journalists from Grist, Sunset, Medium, Radiotopia, KCRW, The Center for Investigative Reporting, Berkeleyside and the Food and Environment Reporting Network (FERN) to ensure their important work reaches its maximum audience. Dana puts her nose for news, innate sense of story and decades of experience working with the media -- on the client and PR side -- to work for her clients every day. After a three-year crash course in PR at Edelman Worldwide, Dana founded Dadascope in 1999 at the age of 26. She continues to bring her entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for her clients’ stories to every aspect of the agency’s practice areas.
