Cultural diversity has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents, sisters and me travelled the wider Mediterranean and this brought us to Egypt when I was just 16. I was hooked and decided to study Arabic Language and Culture at Leiden University (The Netherlands) and in Cairo (Egypt). Since then, I have spent ample time in the region, studying, working and travelling. I just love diversity and appreciate different voices. I also realise that all these different wishes and opinions can be a challenge in reaching an inclusive organisational culture. Contributing to diversity and inclusion thus has become a genuine driver to many things I do. I am also a connector, bringing people and ideas together. It gives me joy and fulfilment to do this.In my spare time I enjoy time with my family, love travelling (you guessed that), reading, swimming and hiking.Feel free to reach out, I am always open for a good conversation.
