I have enjoyed a successful 30 year career in the construction sector. I have operated at senior leadership level on several major highway projects, as well as at business leadership level for engineering consultancies in the private sector and in local government. I have used coaching and mentoring as part of my day-to-day management style for many years. I am a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.Having worked at a senior level in businesses ranging in size from 7 to 40,000 staff, I understand the dynamics that exist in teams and organisations of various sizes. I am a passionate believer in people over process and the importance of connected teams and empowered individuals in the creation of high performance.I mix theoretical and practical experience and knowledge to provide an authoritative and holistic approach to project and business management, coaching and mentoring. My broad experience is augmented by qualifications in Project Management (APMP), Business Management (MBA) and Coaching and Mentoring (ILM).
