Scott Dahl is a multi-disciplinary designer with excellent hands-on administrative, presentation and communication skills. He has an experienced track record of developing many theatrical sets, theme park attractions, interactive exhibits, corporate event environments as well as residential and light-industrial architectural projects including interiors for two NBA franchises in Miami and San Antonio. Scott presently teaches Scenography, Theatre History, Stagecraft, Scene Painting, Stage Make-Up and CADD and has taught Residential and Commercial Interior Design Studios, Materials and Finishes, Residential and Commercial Construction, History of Period Styles, Space Planning, Professional Ethics and Portfolio Capstone classes. “We work in an expanding industry where once clear boundaries between entertainment, education and commerce are now blurred. My diverse background makes me a valuable asset to my students and clients.”Personal interests: Sydney & Magee, Modernism, The Group Theatre, ice hockey, wildlife preservation, period architecture.Specialties: Interior Design, Theatrical Design, Scenic Painting, Theme Park Attractions, Exhibit Design.

Loved every minute working with the fantastic staff, faculty and students. Received grants to present my Group Theatre research in St. Petersburg, Russia, San Diego and NYC. Proud to have student design competition winners and production designs invited to the regional KC-ACTF conference. My daughter was born in MI 2/19/03! Should have never left but wanted to move closer to family in NY. Flint: not without it’s issues, but a great place to live. Go Generals!
