About Daisie Mayes

In July 2023, I started a newly formed role with Bristol Bears to develop the business and lead on special projects as we continue to drive innovation, change and commercial growth. Combining both strategic and operational elements to grow both the Women's programme and special projects at Bristol Bears. Although this has meant that I have had to hang up my boots, after a six-year playing career with the Bears, I have loved getting stuck into some exciting projects: - Formulating an operational strategy to grow and innovate the women's club.- Strengthening the presence of the club within our community.- Becoming the first rugby club to partner with #HerGameToo. - Becoming the first rugby club to partner with Pledgeball.- Creating and launching our first ever Supporter Advisory Committee, 'Bears Together'.Just to name a few...I am currently undertaking a women's specific, Level 5 apprenticeship in Operational Management with 'Raise The Bar'.
