Oversee operations of 10 first Mile Hubs operational sites (>10,000 drop ship packages managed weekly)My core duties include:•Strategy formulation and implementation activities around setting up and expansion of the Jumia network of Drop off hubs and Order fulfilment locations.•Co-implemented a product quality regulation process that resulted increased customer satisfaction by reducing returns related to poor quality issues.•Led the assessment and end to end implementation of volume control and capacity of drop-off hubs operations ahead of Jumia Tier one events – Mobile Week, Easter Sales, & Black Friday Key Achievements• Improved quality return rate from 6% to below 1%.• Set up self-drop off services at the first mile hubs that helped reduce vendor wait time as well as cost savings in relation to head count.

Oversee the operations of over 10,000 vendors on the platform. Managing the end to end process from order drop off to return collection.My core duties include:• Structure and lead vendor experience projects. I own the short term and long term vendor experience vision and roadmap.• Push for faster vendor fulfillment through proactive queue management.• Push for faster return collection through proactive queue management.• Lead vendor support and vendor issue resolution functions.• Develop annual budget and roadmap for the team.• Lead IT related developments with the tech team in Portugal and Berlin to automate the vendor journey.• Overseeing multiple projects aimed to improve both internal efficiency and supplier’s management.Key Achievements• Managed to change vendor behavior by achieving vendor fulfilment speeds of up to 80% of order drop off by the following day.• Through rigorous vendor education and introduction of strict guidelines and penalties I have managed to keep the stock out rate at below 3% of total sales in given month.• Championed weekly payments for Jumia sellers after realizing that cash flow was key to their day to day operations and order fulfillment.• Consistently deliver on vendor promise by ensuring 90% success rate of their orders. Raise the vendor net promoter score (VNPS) month on month.
