In 2011 The Fleet Foxes released a song called “Helplessness Blues” which lyrics I think of often. It starts off with the narrator describing growing up fixated on his own uniqueness, “Like a snowflake distinct among snowflakes unique in each way you can see”. As the song builds, the narrator describes his desire shifting from being unique and singular into being “A functioning cog in some great machinery serving something beyond me.” Serving something beyond me. Those are the lyrics that echo through my mind as I progress in my career. My intention is to take my 10 plus years of unique experience and success in the fashion, music, and entertainment industries and channel that into something greater than me. As lead guitarist for The Atomics I performed at festivals and concerts including 2017 Coachella. I managed the band’s social media platforms, strategized, planned and executed content, and cultivated relationships with our followers. I collaborated in overall brand vision and creative direction as well as wrote and recorded songs. My modeling career has taken me around the globe and back working with clients such Dolce & Gabbana, Samsung, Fenty Beauty, H&M, and more. I know how to collaborate with multiple artists at once, and help bring all creative visions into fruition. Having spent years being on set, I know what makes a photoshoot successful and am confident I can bring that success to any brand. Being a successful model and musician gave me a platform to explore content creation and social media management and marketing. I am experienced in analyzing engagement and using that to strategize a cohesive brand strategy and connect with communities. "Serving something beyond me" fulfills and motivates me.
