I enjoy hiking on the weekend and spending quality time with my son. Every Thursday after work, I take my son to gymnastics. On occasion, I like to disconnect from the world and enjoy nature and all its beauty. Family time is important to me. It's quite simple, I am Human. Someone once told me, "HR? Ohhh... you are the person everyone in the company hates"To which I answered, "I am here to prove 'everyone' wrong"Human Resources is more than just terminating or disciplining employees. It is creating an environment where we can be ourselves. Am I the only one who enjoys hiking on the weekends? No. Am I the only one who has a family? No. Am I the only one who rushes to take their kid to practice? NO. Everyday we are given an opportunity to create something meaningful. Human Resources allows me to do just that. I have passion for what I do. If I can play one small part in creating a workplace that allows us all to be humans, I will do just that. The Human, in Human Resources, has been by far the most rewarding part of my career.Always do what you love.
