In this position I am responsible for developing and innovating AASHE’s education vision and strategy and carrying it out by managing the organization's professional learning offerings, including virtual and in-person workshops, webinars and other educational programs.Additionally, I lead the review, selection, and scheduling of sessions at the annual AASHE conference and manage other AASHE programs related to education and training, including Centers for Sustainability Across the Curriculum program and the mentorship program. Furthermore, this position supports partnerships, outreach, and customer service related to professional learning and education.

In this position I am responsible for managing AASHE's education programs:• Developed, piloted, and successfully implemented and managed new programming for the organization including: Virtual Education programs (webinars, workshops, online courses, other events), the Mentorship program and new partnerships with the Centers for Sustainability Across the Curriculum;• Developed Education Intern program and manage interns;• Developed and delivered over 200 webinars and other professional workshops, educational offerings and materials;• Planned and organized annual AASHE Conference & Expo program for 6 conferences (2014-2019); including: mobile app, event content, schedule, speakers, workshops, and other details;• Planned, organized and produced first virtual AASHE Conference (2020);• Streamlined, improved and implemented a modified Call for Proposals which resulted in a higher quality program for the conference (2014-2020);• Redesigned Call for Educational Content (2021) to adapt to societal changes and community needs for a fully virtual educational program (conference sessions, webinars, workshops, courses, etc);• Serve as staff liaison to various steering committees and outside partner organizations (HEASC, DANS);• Represent AASHE through public speaking opportunities at conferences and meetings.• Support partnerships, outreach, and customer service related to professional development.
