About Julian Dautremont (He/Him)

Julian Dautremont is an expert on sustainability for higher education. He co-founded the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and served as the organization's Associate Director for five years. In that capacity, he played leadership roles in creating the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS), a top sustainability rating system for higher education institutions, as well as the American College & University Presidents' Climate Commitment. As both a student and an employee, Julian has led sustainability efforts on three campuses: a private liberal arts college, a public research university, and a technical college.
