As the Captain/Vice-President/President of South Forsyth High School E-Car, I lead and inspire the club, working on building and racing an electrathon car. This includes leading a group and guiding students in going through all the minute details concerning the construction of an electric car from scratch. This requires planning and setting up the responsibilities for the team's events, ensuring that each student has a feel of what is expected out of them and works accordingly. I also mentor and teach club members about the technical and engineering aspects of the E-Car design and construction to ensure that all is done in a collaborative and educational environment. Our club takes part in 2-4 competitions every year where we face off against other schools to race our cars. I collaborate closely with my peers to solve challenges, refine designs, and explore the boundaries of our imagination and technical expertise while building this car. Being in charge of the E-Car team has truly been a great journey for me helping me control my leadership skills and fuel my passion for engineering while fostering a sense of unity with my teammates. This responsibility boosts my engineering knowledge, while also filling me with pride and satisfaction when we construct and race our Electrathon Cars together.

In 2023, I felt truly grateful to receive the honor of achieving National Cyber Scholar, by CyberStart America. This prestigious recognition is given to about 2% of students nationwide out of over 35,000 participants who compete in this 6-7 month cybersecurity competition. The competition tested my skills in cybersecurity, pushing me to showcase my determination, problem-solving abilities, and technical skills. Winning this award shows the efforts and dedication I've put into the field of cybersecurity. I was lucky enough to earn both the finalist and scholar distinctions in this challenge, gaining not only acknowledgment for my commitment to technology and cybersecurity but also a $4,000 scholarship. This scholarship helped pay for my GFACT exam, to increase my level of skill and qualification in cybersecurity. I am very grateful to have been allowed to participate in this competition because it allowed me to learn more about cybersecurity.

As a volunteer at CodeDay in Atlanta I actively participate in organizing impactful events that introduce technology to young and underserved students in my community. CodeDay, a profit organization aims to offer hands on experiences that inspire young learners to code. My responsibility is to create a fun and engaging environment for the students as they want to learn more about the world of technology. I assist with event coordination, mentoring participants, and overseeing the workshops, in order to make technology more understandable and accessible to all the attendees. Being able to witness the spark of curiosity and confidence that the students show when engaging with technology is just truly amazing. Volunteering at CodeDay also allows me to make point of the importance of allowing wider diversity within the tech industry. This experience has also been able to strengthen and show my dedication to my community. CodeDay will and has always been a transformative experience for me.

As a Technical Intern at Vrize Inc., I get to combine my love for technology with my talents in marketing and media. I support my team by utilizing my coding expertise and understanding of AI technologies to help create useful solutions for Vrize, especially in the technical writing field. My role spans across various skills including technical writing (where I create whitepapers and blogs to be released through Vrize), and UI/UX design, where I help craft engaging user experiences. Additionally, I work closely with the marketing team in order to ensure our work matches with the social media strategies. This internship has been beneficial for improving my abilities and problem solving skills in a fast paced tech environment.It provides a rounded learning experience as well, strengthening my understanding of the connection between technology and humans.
