Military Experience: Over 28 Years of combined Acitve Duty, Army Reserve and National Guard Military service. Enlisted in 1995 working up the ranks from Private to Staff Sergeant. In 2002 enrolled in ROTC at Washington State University. Graduated with a BA in Business Management and was commissioned as Second Lieutenant into the Army National Guard in 2004. Served two years as a Platoon Leader where after I was promoted and moved to a Troop level Executive Officer positon. 2008-2009 deployed to Iraq in the role of Executive Officer. Currently hold the rank of Captain.Civilian Experince:Combined low to mid level retail management experience of more than 3 years from 1999 to 2002 for a large home impromvent chain that went out of business. Served as Cashier Manager then Operations Manager for about 3 months before the store closed. Following this hired on as Assistant Store Manager for Dollar Tree. Was offered promotion to Store Manger, but declined in order to return to college to finish my Undergraduate Degree.Post College took a position as Assistant Superintendent for Polygon Northwest (Cascaidian Company) in 2005. Managed up to 4 employees and more that 17 independent subcontractors. Oversaw the daily building schedule of each home. Worked with local inspestors to ensure structures were built to code. Interacted with the homeowners before, during and after they closed on and moved into their home. Enforce safety standars of Labor and Industries as well as those of Polygon. Amidst a declining home building economy in January 2008 transferred to the Quality Assurance Department. Inspecting homes at designated points in the building process to ensure each structure was being built to plan, that local and state codes were met and that the company quality standard was achieved.
