Our employer clients have successfully reduced recordable MSK injuries by 55% and work-comp claim costs by 65%. 2018 We introduced a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Health and Safety program for employers to reduce the frequency and severity of work related MSK injuries. 2014 I launched OAC with one goal: improve the health and productivity of employed populations. Vice President Occupational Risk ManagementThe Frank Gates Service Company Jan 2011 - Aug 2012Dublin, OhioFollowing the 2011 sale of Occupational Health Plan to Frank Gates Service Company, assisted in the acquisition transition and developed a new integrated claims management solution between employers, claims administrators, managed care and healthcare providers. Key contributions during tenure include:● Independently developed a new Occupational Risk Management (ORM) program for existing and new Ohio employer clients. (OHP) in 1991, based on the recognition that Workers’ Compensation costs were crippling business due to the fragmentation and delayed access to claim information between employers, medical providers and claims administrators. OHP functioned as the catalyst between all parties of the Workers’ Compensation claim to manage and reduce employers’ risk.● Occupational Health Plan’s initial mission involved the development of a network of Occupational Health providers to work directly with local employers to control and reduce occupational health risk factors. From this success, business operations expanded in 1999 to become a Third Party Administrator representing Ohio State Fund and Self-Insured employers for workers’ compensation claims. OHP managed workers’ compensation processing for 6,000 employer policies. ● Vantage Occupational Health Plan, a subsidiary of OHP, was acquired in 2000 and sold as part of OHP. Prior to acquisition, Vantage Occupational Health Plan was a small, five-county Managed Care Organization (MCO) when acquired in 2000.
