Mechanical Designer
CurrentResponsible for developing jigs, spare parts, and mechanical equipment for handling materials, including tanks, silos, hoppers, chutes, and conveyors. Modell and detail for fabrication. Prepare scopes, costs, and time estimates. Support of fabrication and installation teams, Inspection of machining parts, roiling/pressing and welding processes. Calculations to design mechanical parts and, on the installation, modification, and start-up of industrial equipment.Key Responsibilities:Design mechanical equipment for handling materials such as tanks, silos, hoppers, and conveyors. based on manufacturing capabilities, and client requirements.Reverse engineer parts and equipment.Model parts using Solidworks for various manufacturing methods (machining, welding and assembly).Create assemblies, exploded views, and bills of materials (BOM).Run Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Solidworks Simulation.Produce detailed drawings for shop fabrication.Review requests for quotes, client schematics, and specifications.Create conceptual drawings to estimate materials and manufacturing processes.Collaborate with shop manufacturing personnel to ensure technical aspects are understood.Work with machine shops and vendors to fabricate parts.
