Profile bio

About Dalena Phan

I am a first-generation and income eligible (FGLI) college alum from Purdue University. Being the first in my family to attend and obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Health Science with a Interdisciplinary Health Science Concentration along with three minors in Human Developmental and Family Studies, Psychology, and English, my passion in healthcare is what motivates me to push myself past my limits. I have volunteered for various organizations to broaden my perspective and build my knowledge.Furthermore, my involvements went beyond education as I was involved with Health and Human Sciences (HHS) Success Mentors Program, Horizons Student Support Services, and The Vietnamese Student Association at Purdue. In addition to my volunteering and involvements, I took lots of biology/healthcare-related courses and did various interns with the intent to one day create a positive impact on healthcare patients during their times of need.
