Performs data acquisition validation, warehousing, and analysis of data, with particular focus on survey, case review, medical and prescription drug claims, eligibility, disease management, and disability data. Also assists in designing statistical analysis plans and defining case selection criteria and variable parameters.

Contracted to update repair a large Access database, comprised of several hundred queries and macros which had malfunctioned. Fixed several glitches in existing queries and macros. Upgraded many macros into VBA script. Created documentation for database to aid with future repairs.

Contracted to update an array of databases used to manage the licensing of health agencies within the state and to facilitate reporting on data to help produce statistical analysis. Migrated 13 out-of-date FoxPro databases into Access. For each database created a custom data entry GUI (VBA). Assisted others within the department with creating reports and analyzing data (MS SQL, Queries)

Created new time entry application, including a creative synchronization feature that allows each of the 50+ users to use the database both online or offline. Created custom time-tracking/management system team split between office and field. Automated the procedure of sending data to and from the server so the user didn’t need any technical knowledge to synchronize data. Automated data transfers to and from outside data systems, including Excel, CSV, TXT.

Contracted to create a database and accompanying intranet entry system to manage time off requests for a large calling staff over several sites in different cities. Interfaced Access with custom web application (VBA). Automated data exports and imports (CSV, TXT, SQL). Created automated data exports to be used by web-based reporting (MS SQL, Queries).

Contracted to repair and update database for small non-profit. Updates primarily using VBA.

Designed and created a large MS Access database to combine disparate data sources and formats, to keep multiple offices supplied with leads. In addition, I created the architecture and plan to migrate the data into a future SQL database. Created a database of over 6 million leads, and managed their rotation around the calling floor, as well as in and out of archive (VBA, MS SQL). Created customized import and validation procedures for 20 unique vendors (VBA, MS SQL).

Used MS Access to solve a wide variety of computer programming needs, so that the salespeople had one, multi-function application open at all times (VBA, MS SQL). I started with this fundraising consultant as Data Entry Supervisor, where my main responsibility was maintaining data entry screens and data integrity in MS Access (Version 1998). I was promoted to Manager of the Fulfillment Department in order to use my skills to create a custom MS Access Interface for a large SQL Database, and to use MS Access to automate several time-intensive, repetitive tasks. Also during this time I aided in upgrading the companies computers and all MS Access Databases to Version 2000, and later to Version 2002. After being promoted to Fulfillment Director, I continued my role as programmer of the MS Access Databases in the Fulfillment Department, as well as the development of a database we could release to our customers to interface with our own data. I also spent time developing documentation to help others use my creations. Oversaw the migration of data from MS Access to SQL Server. Created the MS Access interface to allow users to work with data in MS SQL. Managed department responsible for processing and analyzing collection of charitable donations for over 100 organizations.
