I was responsible for writing content for the intranet, website, and published monthly customer bulletins. I helped to develop the CSU's marketing strategy, working with business development to define the deliverables across all communications platforms. My key achievements include rebranding of the company to reflect growth in customer base beyond north and east London, creating a new visual identity and logo to align with NHS values, and managing the launch of the new brand handbook to employees and stakeholders.

This remit was a pure internal communications role supporting the delivery of employee engagement across a large and complex company. Accountabilities included copywriting, proofing, production and publishing content for 360 intranet and TV news. I also supported production of internal channels through a fortnightly newsletter to 8,000+ employees, and prepare internal announcements regarding CEO and ELT communications. This remit also supported a new channel to communicate to the top 100 senior leaders of the company through monthly conference calls.

Heathrow's Operational Freedoms Trial was a recommendation of the UK Government’s South East Airport Taskforce. It explored whether new procedures could be used to bring benefits to passengers, by providing a more punctual service; the local community through less late-running flights; and to the environment, by reducing aircraft stacking times and reducing emissions. This remit involed investigating and responding to community concerns regarding aircraft noise, liaising with Flight Evaluation Unit to obtain detailed analysis to help inform quality assurance responses, ensuring they are of high standard and refer to the wider Heathrow public affairs policy.

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) was responsible for the delivery of the venues and infrastructure needed for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.Joining the ODA for a 4-month post, I managed community relations, stakeholder consultations, and community engagement strategies for London 2012 temporary basketball training venue during and post Games time. This project attracted a high level of public scrutiny from the local community, interest groups, local media, MPs and Councillors.
