• Reporting to the Medium Voltage Business Unit Controller, the role acted as a focal contact for all BU related financial planning, analysis and reporting ensuring adherence to highest standards, timelines and accuracy.
• Leading complete budget process from kick-off to finalisation adhering to corporate guidelines and BU budget assumption letter including presentation preparation and input into reporting tools.
• Preparing accurate forecasts in a timely manner supported by detailed planning consisting of latest status of backlogs & timelines and considering special impacts based on latest business developments.
• Monthly analysis of actual results as per performance metrics for each product segment with comparatives analysis against past performance and budget providing detailed commentary on main deviations.
• Focal point for all corporate & statutory reporting requirements for the BU including monthly management reporting packs, detailed commentary on business results, and addressing ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Responsible for month-end process including update of accruals, provisions and making adjustment journals including reconciliations & proper cut-offs to ensure accurate financial reporting through SAP.

• Reporting to the Country Compliance Officer, the role focused on implementation of Siemens Compliance System and effective compliance risk management to provide assurance to business in the compliance area.Main.
• Design & implementation of internal controls with periodic testing & mitigation of control deficiencies.
• Performing compliance risk assessment and recommending mitigation measures for bids and tenders.
• Conducting compliance due diligence in new business partner arrangements & suppler selection process.
• Providing advisory on wide ranging business and financial transactions including project execution issues.

• Started as Commercial Officer reporting to the Business Unit CFO and was promoted to Deputy Commercial Manager looking after project accounting and controlling of Industrial Projects, providing financial support to.
• Commercial project management of several industrial projects including three main operation & maintenance contracts and rental agreements for self-generation using diesel Generators.
• Regular monitoring of project costs by reviewing Order Cost Controlling (OCC) reports and computing Expected Cost to Complete taking into account project completion schedule and risk contingencies.
• Processing orders/projects using SAP including creation of sales orders & maintenance contracts, issuing delivery notes & billing, and monitoring receivables ageing report & chasing collections.
• Handling all contact & claim management issues on BU level including drafting of commercial proposals, addressing post bid clarifications & contract finalisation and arranging bid bonds/performance guarantees.
• Commercial sales support including critical review of bid costing, computation of commercial costs, preparing cash-flow, executive summaries and steering Limits of Authority (LoA) process for bid approval.
