How can communication transform the future for the better? This is the question that most motivates my career and acts as the mission behind Diffusion, the international agency I co-founded to help tech-led innovators challenge the status quo. With 25 years of experience across diverse sectors, I focus on helping accelerate innovation in climate and clean technology. We need to re-engineer how we live, how a responsible economy functions, and our relationship with the planet. Technology will be critical to encourage behavioural change and essential in preventing and mitigating the climate crisis - from driving the energy transition, safeguarding ecosystems, to enabling global food security, and beyond. It’s far too easy to fall into fatalism, but human ingenuity should never be underestimated. We are already seeing exciting potential solutions emerge, we now need to drive their development and help them scale to make the rapid impact we need. I advise founders, CEOs and investors on how to use communication as a catalyst for change – whether shifting perceptions, raising awareness, or to attract the capital, partners, clients and talent to make their vision a reality. Clients seek me out for my ability to articulate their mission in a way that resonates and inspires, my skill in creatively connecting consumer, B2B and corporate communications, and for my honest counsel. At Diffusion, I’m currently focused on campaigns advancing the roll-out of EV charging infrastructure, scaling sustainable aviation and improving access to clean water in the Global South.
