I have been able to develop and administrate Tableau reporting efforts, contributing to the creation of over 10 dynamic dashboards which are used to better understand student and recruiter needs and maintain our goal of a student job placement of 90-100%. I also have documented and maintained data analysis processes for Tableau and SQL to unify our 15 developers and analysts. I feel this has encouraged long-term investment in Tableau and its continued use for years to come.Because of my experience, I have also been able to lead personal and group training's for non-technical analysts meant to increase the usage and development of Tableau Dashboards. This has dramatically increased efficiency in creating and analyzing needed reports for all departments within the business career center.

I helped to document, test, and analyze internal controls for publicly-traded companies to ensure proper implementation and to decrease the likelihood of fraud. I also reviewed Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs) encompassing logical access, change management, access management, and IT operations with clients to confirm understanding and accuracy from prior documentation. I was also able to participate in both Internal and External audit engagements which included work in Service Organization Controls (SOC) reporting as well as Financial Audit IT support within a variety of industries.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to build an Extract, Transform, and Load(ETL) automated process using SAP Data Services which converted an Oracle Transactional Database into a MSSQL Data Warehouse. I also wrote, validated, and optimized over 150 SQL queries and PL/SQL packages, resulting in greater speed, security, reliability, and data integrity across the board. Because of my experience and the opportunities that presented themselves, I was also able to oversee the work of another intern as an assigned team lead.

Colorado Springs, Colorado Area

I was contracted to convert over one million survey responses located in excel spreadsheets to a private database using both Visual Basic code and SQL queries, making business analytics possible for over 39 schools where it was previously unavailable. This then allowed me to create close to 200 interactive dashboards in Tableau allowing District and School Administration better access to Parent/Student information. I was also able to collaborate with the Application and Data Services Team as well as the Assistant Superintendent, teaching them how to better implement Tableau in future projects as well as how to reproduce created dashboards with future data.

Provo, Utah Area

I helped set up accounts for more than 250 patients per month. This includes taking down their information and evaluating the need for their diabetic testing supplies. I then would help coordinate with their Pharmacy and The insurance company to offer them the lowest possible copay on their testing supplies. I was consistently in the top 10% of sales reps.
