I am currently a Principal Software Engineer at Finicity, a Mastercard company, focusing on financial services. Prior to that I was a Senior Robotics Software Engineer for Energid focusing on path planning algorithms and general robotics control software. Previously, I was a Robotics Software Engineer for Sarcos Robotics working on the Guardian XO project as the software technical lead. Before Sarcos, I was working as a Senior Mobile Robot Software Engineer for Omron Adept Technologies working on motion planning and collision avoidance algorithms for mobile robot platforms. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in May 2011, and then completed my Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Utah in June 2016. I attended the University of Utah as a recipient of both the NSF Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship for Biocentric Robotics Fellowship and the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists Fellowship. I later received the University of Utah Graduate Research Fellowship.
