Founded the Sikh Student Association at UC Santa Cruz. Oversaw and conducted fundraising; team building for projects; campus outreach with undergraduate, graduate students, as well as faculty from various departments. Facilitated networking with other student organization on campus, creating important and constructive alliances with key groups and individuals

Jago was a conference that centered around Sikh activism and art in North America. I pitched the idea to a group of people in the Sikh community that consisted primarily of Gurdwara committee members, businessmen, and other community organizers. The project brought together artists, activists, and young scholars to discuss Sikh resistance movements, Sikh diaspora, healing, and community building. The conference had a budget of appropximately 10,000 dollars, and an estimated 300 people from across California were in attendance - not including speakers who also came from BC and Toronto.
