I am a passionate and dedicated sports administrator with more than 20 years experience in the Australian sports industry. I spent the the last four years (2013-2017) as General Manager Media and Communications at Football Federation Australia including Media Manager of the Socceroos, highlighted by the 2014 FIFA World Cup, 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and being part of the Socceroos Staff that helped Australia win the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. Now I am combining my industry experience with local passion to take on an exciting opportunity as CEO at Manly Warringah Football Association and Manly United Football Club, which is well placed for a strong growth period.My working life started as a journalist with News Limited from 1987 to 1996 before embarking on my sports administration career that has also seen me work with Javelin Australia, the Australian Swim Team, Hanson Sports Media, Northern Spirit, Sydney FC and FOX Sports while I was also a Media Liaison Officer for the Australian Olympic Committee at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games, where I worked on swimming, football, athletics, diving and rowing as well as assisting the AOC Media Director at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.I firmly believe that good people and strong relationships make any good organisation stronger and making a tough decision is better than making the easy decision.
