I am a strategic leader and experienced executive, most recently as CEO of peak industry body Recorded Music NZ and currently as owner and company director of our family business A&C Homestore. I have significant experience leading diverse teams and stakeholders and managing multiple million dollar plus revenue streams. My career has enabled me to develop significant commercial negotiation skills and build extensive knowledge and experience across a wide swath of areas including licensing, copyright, intellectual property, marketing, design, logistics, technology and media. I have built an extensive network of partnerships across many different stakeholder groups and industry sectors both public at Ministerial level and private at C-suite level. I have also produced and staged large scale events such as the NZ Music Awards which have required considerable media experience and has also developed me as a spokesperson. I have a strong passion for Arts, Culture, and Creativity and also in their application in media and technology and the intersection of intellectual property and commercial outcomes. In addition to my executive positions, I have 10 years Governance experience as a trustee in a number of charitable and not-for-profit creative focused organisations - Crescendo, MusicHelps and the Digital Media Trust.I am also the co-owner and company director of our Furniture and Homewares family business A&C Homestore, and in this role, I focus on strategy, operations, HR and finance, as well as guiding and supporting the management team. I am also currently consulting to MusicHelps and Recorded Music NZ, leveraging my extensive knowledge and network in the music sector.
