About Damian Jenkinson

I have worked in various aspects of information systems over the past 20 years. Starting in first line technical support, working through 2nd line and finally 3rd line support before moving to Architecture.This has involved various roles on a large number of different projects. This includes management and project management experience for major projects at Debenhams Ltd. The different technologies I have work with has enabled me to have strong technical expertise with a understanding of how each is required to provide an overall service to a business.A good example of the kind of projects I've been the technical lead on designing and moving Debenhams from legacy operating systems like Windows XP and Windows 7 to Windows 10 across the business, providing a standard operating environment for desktops and laptops. Active directory upgrades, Windows server upgrades and other migrations from old to new. I have built and deployed Tablet technology that has been introduced into Debenhams stores, deployed Microsoft SCCM into the business and Office 365. I'm currently working on Intune and Windows 10 deployment, Ongoing mobile device management (MDM) and a number of other retail projects covering Kiosks and VMware store servers. Other areas that I have involvement in are a number of other infrastructure based technical projects in the data centre and remote sites.A loyal employee and team player who shows commitment and is dedicated to sharing knowledge and supporting others, proven by being awarded Celebrating Success in 2004. The award was given for delivering exemplary customer service, being an excellent example and inspiration for motivation, dedication and professional approach, coaching and supporting others.
