I'm an experienced Surface Warfare Officer with a vast military background and a passion for organizational success. With over 20 years of expertise in the U.S. Navy, my career has ranged from a Training Officer, where I developed and implemented training programs to address specific needs and goals of the organization, then as the Combat Systems Officer, I oversaw the operation, maintenance, and readiness of all combat systems and equipment onboard a U.S. Warship. Next, I led an Amphibious Squadron in Training and Readiness, which consisted of evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics while also offering personalized coaching and support to personnel who needed additional guidance. Lastly, after completing an extensive 13-month advanced warfare school, I have been the Lead Operational Planner for Maritime Homeland Defense. As the Lead Planner, I have led the planning efforts of several wargames and exercises to include comprehensive pre-exercise briefings to senior-level personnel and conducted thorough debriefings after the wargames and exercises to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. As a Surface Warfare Officer, I bring proven leadership skills, strategic thinking, and readiness for senior leadership roles.
