I was afforded the opportunity to continue my service to the South New Zealand Conference supporting the administration in key project areas. In addition I was appointed to serve as the Lead Pastor of Garden City Fellowship- a multi-ethnic, class inclusive church with three campuses in Christchurch.

In addition to leadership, governance and administrative responsibilities I provided spiritual and pastoral leadership to 23 congregations and two thousand members in the South New Zealand Conference.I also carried responsibility for developing and implementing the communication and public relations program of the conference and served as the ministerial and leadership development director for most of my tenure.I continued to have active involvement in all phases of HR and community engagement through local church ministry.

In addition to the general administrative, leadership and governance responsibilities I had principle care for HR and Strategic Planning.I also served much of this time as communication director and director of ministerial and leadership development.I served on the board of ADRA Vanuatu- the Adventist Development & Relief Agency as well as various denominational boards and school boards.
