Assistant Professor at the Louisiana State University AgCenter based out of the Hammond Research Station (Hammond, LA)I provide research and extension services throughout the state of Louisiana, the Gulf South, the United States, and the world at large, focusing on ways to improve green infrastructure and water management systems across various environments. I began my horticultural career in my youth, working in the landscaping and construction industry for myself, as well as residential and commercial landscape contractors, throughout the state of Maryland. This interest propelled me to completing a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Contracting / Plant Science at Penn State University, and a PhD in Horticulture at Michigan State University. I seek to continue serving landscapers, greenhouse and nursery growers, farmers, and all green industry professionals by combining my field, lab, and communication experiences to develop industry actionable, environmentally savvy solutions to the challenges our field faces.
