My passion for helping people started at a young age. I wanted to become a Police Officer and a soldier in the Army (like GI Joe!) when I grew up. I decided on Truman State University because of their Criminal Justice program as well as their ROTC program. My dream of becoming both police officer and a soldier were on it's way to becoming a reality. When I graduated I was given my commission as a 2nd Lieutenant as an Army Reserve Engineer Officer and I started working for the City of Chesterfield, a municipality of St. Louis, where I worked for 6 years. After a deployment to Baghdad, Iraq in 2008 and six years patrolling as a Police Officer, I decided I wanted to transition into Federal Law Enforcement. As the US Marshalls were not hiring, I applied, and was subsequently hired, by the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Federal Police Officer. I worked there for a year when I realized I needed to focus more on my family which wasn't easy to do when I was working swing shifts, overnights, and every holiday imaginable. From my time as a Police Officer and Army Engineer Officer I learned that I had a talent for building relationships with people from all walks of life with every level of education and experience. I quickly learned that my ability to build relationships and be conscientious to people's needs would help me achieve success in the next chapter in my life, sales.I was hired on as a Sales Engineer with the Keyence Corporation where I managed and maintained a large territory and built solid long lasting relationships with engineers, C-level employees, and plant managers. I spent two and a half years in this position and now am ready for a new challenge with an organization that will value my positivity and interpersonal skills. Specialties: customer relations, building relationships, negotiations, achieving goals, communication, presentation skills, problem-solving.
