Desktop Engineer I
CurrentDesign, deploy, and maintain desktop and laptop systems running on Windows 10/11.Utilize SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and Autopilot to configure and deploy Windows devices.Manage desktop and laptop software installations, upgrades, and patches.Perform Windows patching, 3rd party application patching, software distribution packaging, and automation.Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to Windows desktops and laptops and provide escalated support for end-user incidents.Develop and maintain desktop and laptop configuration standards and policies.Work closely with the help desk team to resolve user issues related to desktops and laptops.Collaborate with other teams to design and implement new solutions and technologies.Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in Windows desktop engineering.Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on Windows 10/11 operating systems and related applications.Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices for desktop engineering processes.Participate in company-required training.Participate in developing department goals and objectives.Work closely with all the associates to ensure a positive work environment.Continue to help build and maintain a first-rate team.Travel between business locations to provide IT services.Work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.Participate in an on-call after-business-hours support rotation.Perform other duties as assigned.
