After graduating from Penn State with a BS degree in Computer Science, I spent 18 years working in the software development field, most of which was spent with Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. At that timeI took an opportunity to stay home with my 3 children as my wife pursued a career opportunity. Then in 2008, I reentered the workforce in a Software Quality Assurance Role with Carestream Health (formerly the Eastman Kodak Health Group). I have experience developing software applications using well defined and stringent processes. I have developed requirements and participated in all stages of software development through the testing and maintenance stages. In addition I have spent 3 years in Software Quality Assurance roles, initially for the Ecktachem 700 Blood Analyzer and most recently in the field of Digital Mammography. While doing so I have enjoyed interfacing with clients internal and external to the development team.Throughout my career I have been known as a person who is easy to get along with and one who has always s shown respect for my colleagues, clients, and those I have supervised and directed. My programming experience has been mostly in using general lower level computer languages such as C, complemented with assembly code for Motorola and Intel microprocessors. I have developed on a variety of host systems with operating systems including DOS, VMS, UNIX and Windows NT.
