I worked for Career Services Administration, a unit of Student Affairs, as a Graphic Designer as well as office assistant for the CLA Career Services office on the east bank of the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities campus. Duties included all print and digital publications for counselors and Career Services Administration, including the GoldPASS job search database. I was also responsible for administrative duties as an office assistant and ran the front desk as the face of career services, greeting students and booking appointments.

Tasks included; drafting and correcting correspondence letters, maintaing appointment letters, maintaining and correctly filing all documents according to the naval SSIC format, and correctly routing documents through the chain of command. Created and maintained a Wiki Library with desktop procedures as well as links to common documents in SharePoint. This wiki improved correspondence accuracy and reduced the amount of time it took to draft a letter in the correct format.

As a Combat Crew Chief certified Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crew Chief my tasks and responsibilities included but are not limited to the following; completing and maintaining a Naval format Log Book of the vehicle, an advanced understanding and knowledge of how to maintain a diesel engine, cleaning and doing first level echelon of maintenance on the vehicle, leading and instructing subordinates, organizing and planning movements, tactfully deploying teams in a high stress situation, and developing myself and my Marines with a higher knowledge of our job.
